(1) In the YouTube screen, find "Video URL (permalink):" Copy and paste that link beside it into a browser window. e.g. http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZLUJAXft1K0

(2) Instead of "watch?v=", replace it with "get_video.php?video_id=" e.g. http://youtube.com/get_video.php?video_id=ZLUJAXft1K0

(3) Download this link (I usually email it to myself and save it as .flv, which will save it as a flash video).

(4) Then open Cinema Forge, and convert the file to .mpg or .avi or whatever you want. I think I found that .avi gave the best pic and sound. But remember, converting a .flv to a .avi will still leave you with pretty crap quality.
