Plot Synopsis
A young woman named Sophie is cursed by the Witch of the Waste, turns into an old woman, and is unable to tell anyone of her plight. Unable to continue her job at her mother's hat shop, she goes to the ambulatory castle of the notorious wizard Howl and insinuates herself into his household. Sophie befriends Calcifer, the fire demon who powers the castle and who is bound to Howl by a contract, the terms of which Calcifer cannot reveal. They promise to help each other with their problems. Like Calcifer, Howl can also see through the Witch's spell, and he and Sophie fall in love. Sophie helps Howl confront his former teacher, and the Witch of the Waste.

Plot Synopsis
Spirited Away is a fantasy adventure with a ten year-old girl, which starts in everyday Japan but goes somewhere very different. For young Chihiro and her family, a mysterious tunnel and haunted town lead to the Land of Spirits, inhabited by gods and monsters and ruled by the greedy witch Yu-baba. Chihiro's parents are transformed into pigs; to rescue them, she must surrender her name and serve in this world. Luckily she finds friends and allies, including the handsome but mysterious boy Haku. Initially sulky and listless, Chihiro (or Sen, as she's now called) finds inner strengths and establishes an identity in this strange world. But can she win back her name and return home?

The Cat Returns - Movie [2002]

Plot Synopsis
This movie is somehow related to Whisper of the heart, it follows Muta (the cat from Whisper of the heart) and Baron (the cat statue in Whisper of the heart, also used in Shizuku's story). The story is based on Neko no Danshaku (Baron of Cat) by Hiiragi Aoi.

The main character of the story is Haru. Haru is a clueless, ordinary 17 year-old girl. She has no special abilities and neither is she an extraordinary beauty. When faced with reality, she is unable to make decisions for herself, thus often swaying to others' opinions to avoid challenge. One day, Haru saved the life of a cat without consideration of her own safety. The cat turned out to be the Cat Prince from the Kingdom of Cats, however as a result, Haru is trapped in the world of cats. Can Baron and Muta rescue Haru who has wandered in the world of cats?

Plot Synopsis
Kiki is thirteen years old, right at the age when a young witch in training is supposed to travel to another city and strike out for herself. It's a real test of responsibility and independence, and if Kiki can handle it for a year, she'll be ready to undergo the rest of her education.

So, with only a little money, her pet cat/confidante Jiji, and her mother's broom, Kiki makes her way to a big city by the sea, where witches haven't been seen for years and the demand for them isn't exactly great. Being resourceful, Kiki starts the kind of business most suitable for a witch who can fly on a broom: an airborne package delivery service. As her fledgling business becomes more and more successful, she meets various friends who each teach her about independence, inspiration, and what to do on days when both seem to vanish.

phim mới nhất của Ghibli là Ponyo mà, có phải tales from earth sea đâu, với lại hôm trước mình ra ngoài tiệm bán đĩa, thấy ngoài ấy có mấy phim lạ hoắc, của Ghibli lun, nhưng ko nằm trong danh sách 17 phim trên. Chẳng hạn như Lupin III cũng nổi tiếng ko kém, hôm trước xem tivi thấy hình như năm nay làm 1 bộ phim mới nữa, hy vọng sẽ hay như những phim trước... thanks mấy bạn đã up film nhé.
Tiện thể nhờ bạn Bambaby fix lại link film Only Yesterday hộ với, mình thiếu mỗi bộ đó là chưa xem trong top 17 bộ trên thôi, thanks bạn nhiều ...

Ghibli
Lần đầu tiên xem fim của Ghibli là xem Mononoko. Xem bao h chả nhớ nữa. Mà hồi đấy có bít là Mononoko với Ghibli j đâu, chỉ thấy rất hay thui, sau này tìm hiểu mới bít
Cũng xem đc tương đối r` nhưng chưa xem hết. Món ngon cứ từ từ mà ăn ko nó hết

À, mọi ng` xem bộ "I Can Hear The Sea" ( Ocean Waves ) chưa nhỉ? Tớ rất thích câu ch của movie này. Nó đc chuyển thể từ tiểu thuyết cùng tên của Saeko Himuro. Mọi ng` có biết ở đâu có bản dịch TV của tiểu thuyết này ko? Thực sự rất mong đc đọc nó Mà ko biết tiểu thuyết này có live-action ko nhỉ?
