Ngoài kimi ga yo, mình nghe nói, người Nhật còn rất thích 1 bài nữa, và xem nó như 1 bài quốc ca thứ 2 đó là furusato của Okano Teiichi.

兎追いしかの山

Wasuregataki furusato.
忘れがたけ ふるさと
How I miss my hometown

I wonder if my father and my mother are both doing okay

Tsutsuga nashi ya tomogaki
恙なしや友垣
I wonder if everything is alright with my old friends

When the rain falls, when the wind blows

Omoi izuru furusato
思いいずるふるさと
I remember my old home

Kokorozashi wo hatashite

Yama wa aoki furusato, mizu wa kiyoki furusato.
山はあおきふるさと, 水は清きふるさと
To my hometown where the mountains are verdant and the water is pure.
