▲I heard that all the fans study Japanese to have a perfect undertsanding of the lyrics.
Hyde: It feels like what I also did during middle high school and high school, since I grew up listening to American rock. Ah, But I didn't studied English, nè.

▲At that time what kind of music did you like?
Hyde: Given that at first I played guitar, Motley Crue. They were my first then, at that time I copied a lot of hard rock. Slayer, Metallica.

▲Your feelings at having at last your fist live in the US?
Hyde: Mah.....There are still points I'd like to practice, but I have a great trust in my band. I managed to have a live style for everybody to receive it, so enjoy it.

▲How was finishing your latest album FAITH?
Hyde: It was like a turning point inside me, even in the music I think it's an album that brought out new things. The message of the album is Love&Death.

▲After having worked in the US, was there a change in your point of view about Japan?
Hyde: Since from the start I thought that Japanese are an incredibly closed/unsociable people, doing this sort things, little by little Japanese are going in several places, the unbound US but also Asia, from now on maybe there'll be occasion of changing for Japan.

▲Something that American musician can be proud of compared to Japanese musicians?
Hyde: For the sound aspect, personally I can't cross over, how can I say, recording in Japan, I really feel I can't reproduce at all. That's why for this last album I recorded here. But for the music aspect, I think that Japanese bands and Japanese music are considerably refined. When I listen to it, I think that even American can completely receive it, there are many points where we are rather surpassed them. Definitely it'd be nice if they'll listen to it.

▲The digital recording was made possible by using computer.
Hyde: Using computer, even if it can be done in every country, and though I think it doesn't change much the quality of the product, obviously by recording here the mixer used American electricity power, in the end it became like the local sound, even now I'm convinced of this. Even if there are mechanical sounds, it was wider because it was done in the US, it's the same sound but obviously different. I don't actually understand this enigma, but it's different.

▲Is it a trouble having lyrics in English?
Hyde: Mah, it feels like a game. Naturally I'd be more at ease at having everything in Japanese.But in that case, when I listen to it I'll get bored. I try to sing in English to enjoy it and it feels like a game.

▲Something you're fanatic about right now?
Hyde: hmm, fanatic. Hmmm, nothing.

▲I'll change question (laugh), A CD you bought recently?
Hyde: When I came to US for the previous recording, I bought the latest album by Korn, that was half a year ago. I haven't listened to it yet (laugh). For real. You might say I don't have hobbies.....Ah, if I have time I read books? The one I'm reading now is "The Da Vinci Code".

▲This time we are surrounded by Anime Expo, you were given an anime theme as work, right?
Hyde: For me, you can say there's no border line between movies and anime. They are both work of art. When you are offered with a song for an anime, I think the most irresponsible thing is giving something completely separated from it, so saying something like "I like this song, there you are" it's insignificant, because it's not a form of art for amateur. So if possible, receiving the information in the phase I'm making the work, it makes me feel like i'm really the supervisor of the music.
I know nothing of movie things, but for the music aspect I'm a pro, much more than movie people, so we can cooperate with sense at the sound making a much better work. A song can make a movie look better, a movie can make a song sound better. It' s a synergy for both, so if possible, at the early stage the best thing it's to work together.

▲Future ambition?
Hyde: For me the main thing it's making music, because it's the only way of expression for everybody to valuate me. But, I like making things, not just in the music field. When I think from now on I'd be able to gradually start something outside music, I paint, I do design, I do movies. But mainly I'd like to be able to start to make a book, an illustrate book. From now on, there's nothing planned in the immediate for my solo activity. But when L'arc en Ciel will start, it'd be postponed for later.

大きな会場をいかにライヴハウスに� �るかと、大きい会場ならではの壮大� ��がテーマ。
前回の武道館を越える長いライヴハ� �スサーキットを回ったならではの成� ��を見せるよ。

関係ないけど東京は暑すぎるから首� �を仙台にして欲しいとも思ってます� ��
そういえばサンフランシスコも寒か� �た。
アメリカは広いから地図で見るとロ� �から少しだけど、緯度は東北並み。
そりゃ、寒いわけだ。
ライヴは大満足だよ。
あのストレートな感情表現は見習い� �いところ。
フルトン曰く「子供がケーキもらっ� �喜ぶ感じ」
、
、
。。。わかる？
いちいち感激してくれるんだ～。
初めてなのにこんなに歓迎してもら� �て最高だった。
また早く行きたいと思った。
日本のツアーの延長のように、当た� �前に回りたいね。
前座のブラックリストクラブにも凄� �感謝している。
最後に一緒に飲んだけどナイスガイ� �した。涙
また一緒にやれたら良いな。

打って変わって札幌は涼しい。　な� �に一番暖かい時期だって、、、信じ� ��れない。
気がつくとライヴハウスが残り少な� �ので、くだらない思いつきのオープ� ��ングをやってみた。
本当はフルトン、ヒロキでやりたか� �たんだけど、フルトン風邪気味だっ� ��から、チューすると
うつるかもしんないからジンちゃん� �決定。
オーディエンスよりスタッフうけだ� �たかな。。

んで、仙台ではパンチョスが再登場� �ました。　
仙台初日のジンちゃんＭＣも面白か� �た～。
録音したのは随分前なんだけど、楽� �で急にジンちゃんが、
「ハイド君ドラゴンボールのゴクウ� �物真似してね」って
、
、
、

？まぢ？？

おれ冗談でも真似したこと無いよ。

裏バンマスには逆らえないので頑張� �ました。

梅雨明けしたらしい東京。

ＺＥＰＰ終了でライヴハウス全部が� �うとう終わってしまった。
あんなに沢山本数があったのに始ま� �とあっというまだった。
みんなこのツアーを楽しんでくれて� �から既に黄昏てる人も居るよ。

博多はやっぱり暑かったね～気温だ� �じゃないよ。博多で買った怖い本に
函館の金森ホールの話が載っていた� �で、ちょっと嬉しかった。　内容は� ��くなかったけど。
しかしこの場所は太る。腹いっぱい� �もラーメン食っちゃうからな。
札幌でもラーメン食ったけどね。
基本的に好きなんだろうね。でも普� �はまったく食いに行かないからよけ� ��
貯め食いしちゃうんだな。

LIVEHOUSE END 1
It seems the rainy season has begun in Tokyo.

With the end of ZEPP we are finally at the end of all the LIVEHOUSE.
When we started there were so many, but they passed in the blink of an eye.
Among all the people who enjoyed this tour, for some is already the twilight.

Hakata was obviously hot~not just for the dampness. I bought a scary book there and given there was talk of Kanamori Hole in Hakodate I was happy. But the book wasn't scary. Anyway in this place I put on weight. Even if I'm full I end up eating ramen. Even in Sapporo I ate it. I guess basically it's because I like it. But on the general I don't go out eating it very much. 貯め食いしちゃうんだな.
(Ele note: this last I don't know exactly , it might be that if he go eating it as a rule he'll end up getting fat, or that he want to store ramen so to eat it when he likes? Any ideas?)

To change subject Sapporo is fresh. Even if it's the warmest season......I can't believe it.
At paying attention, the livehouse dates left were but a few, so I thought of trying something stupid in the opening.
To be honest it was FURUTON and HIROKI wanting to do it, but FURUTON seemed to be with a cold. The cold could get contagiuos through the kiss so it was decided for JIN. More than the audience, maybe it had more effect on the staff.....

So, in Sendai the panchos performed.
JIN's MC the first day in Sendai was funny~
The audio recording was done before, but in the dressing room all of a sudden Jin said "Hyde kun make the imitation of Son Goku from Dragon ball"

Even as a joke I won't do it!
But I couldn't disobey my bandmaster, so I did my best.

LIVEHOUSE 3
Unrelated , but given Tokyo is too hot I wish they'd make Sendai as capital.
Speaking of which, even San Francisco was cold.
US are wide/vast, if you look at a map from LA is just a bit, but the latitude is more to the north.
That's why it's cold.
The live was really satisfying.
I wanted to observe such a straight emotional expression

One by one they felt it deeply~
Even if it was the first time, receiving such a response was great.
I thought that I'd like to go back there soon.

Anyway it isn't over yet, there are still the arena lives.
How to use a big hall like a livehouse? With a grandious theme just for a big hall.
In the past tour at the Budokan I showed the result by touring the livehouse circuit!

I'm gonna enjoy it.

When you end up aging, then there's nothing, I got old.
Recently I came to think in this manner.

Since before I aimed at a summer festival for this time.
When it was decided I was happy.
Since the rivals are hot, I'm happy.
I wonder if Linkin Park are cool

Besides, Tokyo is strangely fresh.
If it were like this every year it'll be nice.
I dislike sleeping with the cooler.
But I dislike even more sleeping without.

By the way, though they speak of greenhouse effect, if you look at the planet on its whole, right now there's a glacial period, did you know that?
Even if we are in a glacial period it seems the seasons are warm.
If this event would spread, maybe they'd suppress the prevention for greenhouse effect?
I haven't heard it much.

From Nagoya it seems the goods will be new.
That is, they'll be new.
Are going to be many cute things?
I'll like all of them.
Since I do only useless things, the charge is poor (laugh)
